ATSC Voyager SaaS Adds West Virginia for Real-Time Criminal Justice Data Access

MCLEAN, VA – July 22, 2009, ATS Corporation (“ATSC” or the “Company”) (OTCBB:ATCT), a leading information technology company that delivers innovative technology solutions to government and commercial organizations, today announced the addition of the state of West Virginia to its ATSC Voyager Software as a Service (“SaaS”).

ATSC has implemented a Voyager Multi-Agency Server for statewide access of criminal justice data by law enforcement agencies meeting all West Virginia State Police and FBI CJIS security requirements for both wired and wireless access. The ATSC Voyager SaaS allows all West Virginia class one law enforcement agencies to access criminal justice data from a wide variety of sources including NCIC, NLETS and West Virginia WEAPON state system. The ATSC Voyager SaaS provides access to real time data to over 400 Federal, State and Local agencies in 20 states across the nation.

ATSC Voyager allows police and sheriff organizations, and other Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies the ability to access criminal justice data instantly from multiple device types including in vehicle laptops, smart-phones and BlackBerry devices for wireless devices as well as desktop access. ATSC Voyager puts the power of information access directly into the hands of the officer providing quick and secure access to criminal justice data that is crucial to making informed decisions in the field. Valerie Perlowitz, an ATSC Senior Vice President states, “This technology enables officers to be proactive in their police work leading to more arrests and crimes prevented.” Being informed helps officers quickly make the right decisions in dangerous situations substantially increasing officer safety. ATSC Voyager also reduces call volumes and provides cost efficiencies to over taxed emergency dispatchers and 911 call centers.

“The addition of the ATSC Voyager SaaS multi-state/multi-agency shared server platform for the West Virginia law enforcement community adds to ATSC’s growing list of agencies that gain access to world class technology at a very affordable cost,” added Ms. Perlowitz. With the ATSC Voyager infrastructure in place in West Virginia, agencies wanting to join the network do not have to pay the high costs of implementing their own in-house infrastructure. The ATSC Voyager West Virginia server is fully maintained and operated by ATSC’s 24/7 technical staff that is devoted to operating mission critical CJIS data systems. The ATSC Voyager approach significantly reduces the burden on department IT staffs by providing an affordable “outsourced” IT staff for agencies that cannot afford one or do not wish to implement and operate the technology based on existing resource constraints. Through the ATSC Voyager SaaS, agencies can send secure intra and inter agency messages and alerts allowing for interoperability and real time information sharing.

ATSC Voyager is a part of the Public Safety Division of ATSC. ATSC’s Public Safety Division provides Federal, State and Local public safety and law enforcement agencies with information sharing, information exchange and enterprise infrastructure technology solutions. The Company’s focus on open platforms and national justice standards supports the delivery of complex large scale and multi-agency enterprise information management solutions in mission critical environments. ATSC serves over 350 justice and public safety agencies in 20 states supporting thousands of end users.
