GSA Sponsored Small Business GWAC Available to All Federal Government Agencies
General Description:
COMMITS NexGen is a solutions based and performance based Government Wide Acquisition Contract initiated by the U.S. Department 0f Commerce and now administered by GSA. Its performance based design insures that your objectives are clearly defined and that the metrics are in place to promote increased quality control and accountability. As a solutions based contract, COMMITS NexGen enables the delivery of complete solutions without the limitations of fixed line - items or labor categories. It also conveys small business credits to agencies for every dollar spent. Task orders may be competed and awarded for up to 5 years and task orders awarded on COMMITS NexGen are non-protestable. This GWAC may be administered by your agency's contracting shop directly via a delegation of authority or by GSA.
Period of Performance:
The COMMITS NexGen master contract has an initial one year base and awardees obtain ongoing access to the contract by way of being awarded up to 4 annual 1 year option extensions. Task orders which extend up to 5 years past the expiration of the master contract may be awarded. No new task orders may be issued after 1/20/2011 and task order periods of performance may not extend past 1/20/2015.

ATSC has been designated as a Tier III COMMITS NexGen contractor. Tier III COMMITS contractors may only bid on task orders which are estimated to be $40m or above over the potential life of the task. ATS can bring the benefit of its technical resources and 28 years of experience to your agency while still conveying small business credits as we qualify as a small business under the 1500 employee size standard.
