Edward Smith
Mr. Edward J. Smith has served as our director since May 5, 2006. He is currently the president of Barnegat Bay Capital Inc., a corporate finance advisory services and consulting firm. He currently sits on the Boards of Directors of Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX), the world's leading provider of vision systems and software. During approximately 30 years in major securities firms, he has held managing director roles in investment banking at Prudential Securities Incorporated, Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc. In those capacities he was a senior investment banker leading a large number of financial transactions in the technology sector.
Mr. Smith was a lecturer at Yale University teaching a course entitled "The Corporate Board of Directors" in 2006 and 2007. He received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
